Linear search, wish I had the patent on that.
I use it a lot!
rkuris, linear search beats binary search (if the number of elements less than 10 or so).

Yeah, FFT is really beautiful/simple imho. Also QFT, and all the DFT-s... And Bayesian algorithm.
